The ideas behind the numbers: R-multiples, net vs gross P&L, trading days, impulsive trades, phantom checks and the risk limit chain.
- R-multiple
An R-multiple is your P&L divided by what you risked. How Limbix gets risk from your stop, what happens with no stop, and how expected R:R is calculated.
- Net vs gross P&L
Net vs gross P&L in Limbix: net, after fees, is the default everywhere and in every score. Gross, before fees, is a Reports toggle. What changes, and why.
- Trading day
A trading day in Limbix is the calendar day a trade opened, in your profile timezone. What that means, what a timezone change recalculates, and what it doesn't.
- Impulsive trades
Impulsive trades in Limbix are trades with no playbook linked. They count as failed rule checks in your Discipline Score. What counts and how to fix a mislabel.
- Phantom checks
Phantom checks are failed rule checks Limbix charges to an impulsive trade: a typical playbook's worth, set by your own playbooks and frozen on the trade.
- Stand-down line
Your stand-down line is the point you decide, while calm, to stop for the day. Limbix counts the trades you take past it, and never blocks or scores them.
- Risk limit chain
When a prop firm, your check-in, an account and your settings each set a risk limit, Limbix uses the first in a fixed order. The chain and what reads it.
