NEX: the AI coach that reads your trading journal
ProNEX is the AI trading coach in Limbix. It reads your trades, playbooks and notes, uses your dashboard's formulas, and never places a trade or calls a market.
NEX is the AI trading coach inside Limbix: it reads your own trades, playbooks, check-ins and notebook, and answers with the same formulas your dashboard uses. It proposes changes to your journal and writes nothing until you confirm. It never places a trade, never calls a market, and describes only what you already did.
What the AI trading coach can do#
Seven capabilities sit behind every NEX answer. Each card opens the prompts that use it.
Start with the NEX Journal, where you talk to NEX. Check-ins, the Behavioral Profile and Sentiment Analysis each have their own page. Every write NEX can make is listed under Actions and confirmations.
What NEX will never do#
Three separate promises. Each one answers a different worry, so they stay apart.
No execution access. Limbix has read-only access to your trade history. It cannot place, modify or cancel an order, and nothing in Limbix blocks a trade. Read-only is a design decision, not a first-version limit.
No market calls. NEX has no view on any market and no trade calls to sell you. Ask it what to buy, where to get in or out, or how big to go, and it declines in one line and offers what it can do instead. It tells you what to change about your execution, never what to trade.
Limbix is a journaling and analytics tool. Nothing in it is financial advice.
Get the most out of NEX#
NEX can only read what you record. These seven habits decide how good its answers are.
- Link a playbook to every trade. A trade with no playbook is an impulsive trade. NEX cannot audit it against any rule, and it counts against your Discipline Score. See link a playbook.
- Enter a stop and a target. R, your result measured in units of the risk you planned, only exists when a stop does. Without it NEX cannot tell a controlled loss from a runaway one. See add a stop and target.
- Set your limits and a stand-down line. Max risk per trade, max daily loss and max trades per day give NEX something to measure you against. Your stand-down line is the point you decide, while calm, that you stop for the day. See Set your risk limits.
- Tag emotions honestly. NEX links how you felt to how you executed only when you tag it. FOMO and anger are emotions you tag, not something Limbix detects. See tag emotions.
- Write short daily journal entries. A few honest sentences are enough. Very short entries are skipped by Sentiment Analysis, so write more than a line.
- Run pre- and post-trade check-ins. The morning call and the evening grade give NEX your state, your plan and your commitment, day after day. See Check-ins.
- Ask for periods in plain words. "Last week", "June" or "Q1 2026" resolve to exact dates in your timezone. See the period words NEX understands.
Frequently asked questions#
Does NEX tell me what to trade?#
No. NEX reads the record of what you already did and reports what it finds, with the trades cited. It has no view on any market and declines requests for entries, exits, direction or position size. What it offers is a read of your execution: the rules you broke, what they cost, and one process change worth testing. Your next trade stays your decision.
Can NEX place or cancel trades on my account?#
No. Limbix only reads your trade history, from imports or trades you enter by hand. It has no connection to any order system, so neither NEX nor any other part of Limbix can place, modify or cancel an order. Nothing in Limbix blocks a trade either: limits and stand-down lines are counted and shown, never enforced on your broker.
Does NEX use the same numbers as my dashboard?#
Yes. NEX's figures come from the same functions as the dashboard, on the same net basis (after fees). Periods resolve in your profile timezone with weeks starting Monday, so "this month" in NEX and on the dashboard cover the same days. The AI model writes the words around those numbers but is told never to calculate or round one itself.
Which Limbix plan includes NEX?#
NEX is part of Pro and Ultimate. Pro includes 50 NEX interactions a month; Ultimate is unlimited (fair use). Essential has no NEX. The full rules on what counts as an interaction are on Quotas and privacy, and every plan is compared on Plans.
Does NEX change my journal on its own?#
No. Every write, from a tag to a playbook link to a notebook note, arrives as a proposal card with Apply and a cancel button. Nothing changes until you apply it, and the app, not the model, confirms what was written. Most changes can be undone the same way. The ten actions are listed on Actions and confirmations.
