Discipline and trading psychology#

TraderSync tracks plan adherence. You can "Design a strategy checklist and a comprehensive trading plan with rules like max loss per day or max trades per session. The system will track your adherence". Its Strategy Checker is limited to 5 on Pro and unlimited above (pricing). You can "Tag mistakes to identify errors and learn from them" and create tags for emotions. We found no single discipline score on its trading journal page.

Limbix turns adherence into a score and explains what goes into it. A playbook is a written setup with the rules you'll be graded on. Your Discipline Score is the share of those rules you followed across every trade, capped by your Risk Score. A trade with no playbook is an impulsive trade, charged phantom checks that all count as failed. So an unplanned trade costs you as much as a typical planned one would if you broke every rule.

Limbix flags mistakes with eight automatic detectors, such as revenge trades and oversized positions, each a fixed rule the docs explain in plain words. FOMO and a moved stop are yours to tag.

One honest limit: a written rule counts as followed unless you mark it as violated. Your playbook's risk parameters (max risk per trade, minimum R:R, max hold) are different: Risk Rule Adherence checks them from the trade itself.

Risk management#

TraderSync lets you "Track your stop losses for every trade and analyze whether you are following your ground rules for risks" and "Set personalized risk parameters". For R-multiples, you can "Set your R Multiple Value to a specific amount, like $500." An R-multiple is a result measured in units of the risk you planned. We found no risk score.

In Limbix, each trade's R-multiple comes from its own stop, so a trade's risk is what you actually risked on it. The Risk Score then rates the last 30 days from four components you controlled: Risk Consistency, Loss Containment, Exposure Discipline and Risk Rule Adherence. None of them moves because a trade won.

AI coach#

Cypher. TraderSync calls Cypher "Your AI Trading Coach". In its own words: "I highlight what's working", "I reduce risk and regret", "I surface your hidden habits", "I catch when you slip". One example answer on its page reads: "By focusing on trades with an R-Multiple of 2 or higher your strategy's profit could have been $1,250". Plans allow 5, 15 or 60 Cypher messages a day, and Cypher Coach is on Elite only (pricing).

TraderSync's headline is "The Trading Journal That Tells You How to Win." Its Cypher page adds: "We do not provide recommendations regarding specific securities to buy or sell, and we do not offer trading or investing advice."

NEX. Much of what Cypher does, NEX does too: it reads your own trades and answers questions about any slice of them. NEX also reads your playbooks, check-ins and notebook, and answers with the same formulas as your dashboard. The difference is in scope. NEX describes what you did and what to change about your execution. It never calls a market, and Limbix can't place, modify or cancel an order. Pro includes 50 requests a month, and Ultimate is unlimited (fair use). Essential has no NEX.

Prop firm tracking#

We found no prop evaluation tracking on TraderSync's trading journal page. Its PropReports sync is a broker connection used by equity prop desks, not rule tracking for evaluations.

Limbix's Prop Hub seeds rules for FTMO, Topstep, Apex, FundedNext and TradeDay, among others, or you enter a custom firm. The Rule monitor marks each rule Breach, Watch or OK. The buffer-to-loss ratio shows how many of your average losses an account can take before a breach. You log fees, resets and payouts, and see pass rate and ROI per firm. Prop Hub needs Pro (up to 5 prop accounts) or Ultimate (unlimited).

Import and broker sync#

TraderSync says you can "Easily import or sync your trades into your trading journal from 700+ supported brokers". It supports file import too (FAQ), and covers stocks, futures, options, crypto and forex. This is its biggest practical advantage over Limbix.

Limbix has no broker sync yet: broker auto-sync is coming soon. You import a file. Tradovate CSV, TradingView Paper Trading CSV and MetaTrader 5 HTML history map automatically. Interactive Brokers, ThinkorSwim and TradeZero files import their futures and FX rows only. Any other CSV maps by hand. Limbix can't take stock, options or crypto trades yet.

Analytics, replay and mobile#

TraderSync's Market Replay Simulator runs at 1-minute, 1-second or 250ms precision depending on plan. Trade replay is on Premium and Elite. Automated backtesting, Level II and Time & Sales are on Elite (pricing). It has iOS and Android apps on every plan, and you can "Share a link to your public profile" or send a trade to a mentor.

Limbix has none of those: no replay, no backtesting, no native mobile app, no sharing. It runs in your browser. What it has is aimed at "is the problem my strategy, or me?". Reports cover a period with breakdowns and a P&L calendar. Analytics drills down to the trades behind any number, maps P&L by emotion and ranks mistakes by what they cost. Each trade's price chart shows MFE and MAE.

Price#

TraderSync's pricing page on 28 September 2026 showed list prices struck through beside a first-year annual discount of "Up to 60% off":

TraderSync planList monthlyList annualFirst-year annual offerHeadline limits

Who Limbix is best for#

  • Futures and forex traders who want a score for the rules they kept, with its inputs explained.
  • Traders who want risk measured as its own number, from things they controlled, not from outcomes.
  • Prop traders who need firm rules, breach distance, fees and payouts in one place.
  • Traders who want an AI coach limited to their own record, one that never calls a market.

Who TraderSync is best for#

Switching from TraderSync to Limbix#

Limbix doesn't read a TraderSync export. Import from your broker instead, for your futures and forex trades. Tags, notes and screenshots don't transfer, so keep a copy before your subscription ends.

  1. Check your markets

Limbix takes futures and forex/CFD trades only. Stock, options and crypto trades have nowhere to go yet.

  2. Set your timezone and account

Set your timezone in Settings › Profile, then add a futures or forex account under Settings › Trading accounts.

  3. Turn your trading plan into playbooks

For each strategy checklist in TraderSync, create a playbook with the same rules, each answerable yes or no. Daily limits such as max loss per day belong in your risk limits instead. Essential allows 3 playbooks.

  4. Export from your broker

Tradovate CSV, TradingView Paper Trading order history CSV and MetaTrader 5 HTML history map automatically. Interactive Brokers, ThinkorSwim and TradeZero CSVs import their futures and FX rows. For another platform, export a CSV with one row per fill or order. See import formats.

  5. Import and link playbooks

Open Add trades, pick the account under IMPORT INTO and drop the file. Map columns if asked, click Continue to playbook, link each trade, then click Confirm import.

  6. Add stops where they're missing

R and most of the Risk Score need a stop. Add a stop and target where the file had none.

Importing an overlapping date range later is safe. Trades already in Limbix are skipped as duplicates.

Frequently asked questions#

Is TraderSync worth it?#

If you want broad broker sync, market replay, a mobile app and an AI analyst in one tool, TraderSync packs a lot in, especially with the first-year annual discount. It has 4.4/5 from 321 reviews on Trustpilot (28 September 2026). It tracks plan adherence but lists no discipline or risk score, so if that's what you need, compare it with Limbix.

What is TraderSync Cypher?#

Cypher is TraderSync's AI, which it calls "Your AI Trading Coach". It analyses your existing trades to highlight what's working and surface habits. Plans allow 5, 15 or 60 messages a day, and Cypher Coach is Elite only (pricing). TraderSync states that it doesn't recommend specific securities or give trading advice. Limbix's equivalent is NEX.

Does TraderSync have a free trial?#

Yes. TraderSync's pricing page offers "Try free for 7 days" on every plan. We found no free plan. Limbix's prices aren't public yet, and it is pre-launch with a waitlist. See Plans for what Essential, Pro and Ultimate include.

What is a good TraderSync alternative for prop traders?#

TraderSync doesn't list prop evaluation tracking on its site. Limbix's Prop Hub tracks each firm's profit target, drawdown floor and daily loss limit, shows how many of your average losses each account can absorb, and logs fees, resets and payouts. It's on Pro and Ultimate, for futures and forex accounts.

Does TraderSync have a mobile app?#

Yes. TraderSync lists iOS and Android apps, included on every plan. Limbix has no native mobile app: it runs in your browser. If reviewing on your phone matters most, that's a real point for TraderSync.
