How every Limbix number is calculated: the formula, a worked example, when it shows a dash, and how to improve it. From win rate to risk score.
- Net P&L
Net P&L is the sum of every trade's profit or loss after fees. How Limbix totals it, when it reads N/A or Mixed, and why it differs from your broker.
- Win Rate
Win rate is winning trades ÷ all trades. How Limbix counts scratch and open trades, why 40% can beat 70%, and the break-even win rate for your payoff.
- Profit Factor
Profit factor is gross profit ÷ gross loss. Above 1.0 you make money. How Limbix computes it after fees, when it shows ∞, and what a good profit factor is.
- Trade Expectancy
Trade expectancy is your average P&L per trade: net P&L ÷ trades, or win% × avg win − loss% × avg loss. How Limbix computes it and how to raise it.
- Avg Win / Avg Loss
Avg win / avg loss divides your average winning trade by your average losing trade: your realized payoff. How Limbix computes it and what ratio you need.
- Avg R
Avg R is your mean realized R-multiple, where 1R is what you risked from entry to stop. How Limbix computes R, which trades count, and what a good Avg R is.
- Max Drawdown
Max drawdown is the deepest fall in your cumulative P&L from a high to a later low. Why Limbix walks it trade by trade and shows it in money, never as a %.
- Equity Curve
An equity curve plots your cumulative P&L over time. How Limbix draws it from zero for the range you pick, what its shape tells you, and how to read it.
- Net Daily P&L
Net daily P&L totals every trade you opened on a day, after fees. How Limbix defines a trading day, reads green and red days, and what Day win% means.
- R-Multiple Distribution
An R-multiple distribution counts your trades in bands of R, where 1R is what you risked. The buckets Limbix uses, how to read the shape, and what to fix.
- Discipline Score
The Discipline Score is the share of your own playbook rules you followed, capped by your Risk Score. How it's calculated, when it shows a dash, how to lift it.
- Risk Score
The Risk Score rates how survivable your trading is from four things you controlled: sizing, stops, daily limits and playbook risk rules. Method, gates, bands.
- Risk Consistency
Risk Consistency scores whether every trade risks about the same as your typical trade, weighted by what each risked. How it works, gates, an example, fixes.
- Loss Containment
Loss Containment scores whether your losing trades stopped at your stop. Only losers with a real stop count. How it's checked, the gate, an example and fixes.
- Exposure Discipline
Exposure Discipline scores whether you stopped trading after hitting your daily loss limit and stayed inside your trade cap. Formula, gates, example, fixes.
- Risk Rule Adherence
Risk Rule Adherence scores whether each trade obeyed its own playbook's risk rules: max risk per trade, minimum R:R and max hold. Checks, gates and an example.
- Rule CompliancePro
Rule Compliance is how often you followed one playbook rule: times followed ÷ times checked. Where it appears, how it's counted, and what a weak rule means.
- Cost of Violations
Cost of Violations adds up losses on trades where you broke a playbook rule or used no playbook. How it's counted, why winners aren't netted, and fixes.
- P&L When Followed vs Violated Soon
P&L When Followed vs Violated compares, for one playbook rule, net P&L on trades that kept it and trades that broke it. Proof of which rules earn a place.
- Impulsive Trade Count
Impulsive Trade Count is the number of trades you took with no playbook linked. How Limbix counts them, what they cost your Discipline Score, how to cut them.
- Mistake detectors
What each auto-detected trading mistake in Limbix looks for: revenge trades, oversized positions, overtrading and more, plus the ones only you can tag.
- Emotional Heatmap
The Emotional Heatmap shows the net P&L of your trades in each emotion you tagged, so you can see which states of mind make you money and which cost it.
- Top Emotional Drivers
Top Emotional Drivers ranks the emotions you tagged by the size of their net P&L, gains and losses alike, so you see which states move your results most.
- Mistake Cost
Mistake Cost is the total net P&L of the trades flagged with one mistake. It ranks which habit is costing you most, from revenge entries to oversized positions.
- Mistake Counter
The Mistake Counter is the number of different mistake categories flagged in your current range. Fewer is better, and each category opens its own trades.
- FOMO Entries
FOMO Entries counts the trades you tagged with FOMO and what they made or lost. Limbix doesn't detect FOMO: it's a feeling only you can name at entry.
- Revenge Trades
Revenge Trades counts trades opened minutes after closing a loser while angry, frustrated, sized up or tagged revenge. How Limbix detects them, and the cost.
- Skipped Stop Loss
Skipped Stop Loss counts trades you flagged for no stop or a moved stop. Limbix can't see your order history, so you mark it on the trade and Limbix prices it.
- Oversized Position
Oversized Position flags trades bigger than you planned, riskier than your max risk per trade, or far above your usual size. The rules and what each one checks.
- Net Prop P&LPro
Net prop P&L is every paid payout you received minus every challenge fee, reset and add-on you paid. It shows whether prop trading has paid you so far.
- Sentiment ScorePro
The Sentiment Score is NEX's read of the emotional tone in your notebook, from −1 to +1. What the five bands mean, how it averages, and how to switch it off.
- AI ConfidencePro
AI Confidence says how much evidence sits behind a NEX read. Limbix shows it as High, Medium or Low, from how many trades or sessions the read rests on.
- Buffer-to-Loss RatioPro
Buffer-to-loss ratio is how many of your average losing trades fit before a prop account hits its drawdown floor. Formula, trailing vs static, and bands.
- Pass RatePro
Pass rate is the share of your finished prop challenges you passed. Limbix counts resolved challenges only, so accounts still running never drag it down.
- Sentiment vs Linked P&LPro
Sentiment vs Linked P&L measures how the tone of your notebook entries lines up with the P&L of trades linked to them. A Pearson r: association, not a forecast.
- Equity vs TargetPro
Equity vs target is how much of the profit a prop account needs you have already earned: gain so far over gain required, 0% at breakeven, 100% at target.
- Risk FlagsPro
Risk Flags mark notebook entries where NEX found language tied to tilt, despair or overconfidence. What each flag means, how they count, why none blocks you.
- Behavioral ProfilePro
The Behavioral Profile is NEX's one-page read of your trading habits: one of nine archetypes, what it costs you and what to test next. Needs 30 trades, on Pro.
- ROI per FirmPro
ROI per firm is what each prop firm paid you, minus what you spent with it, as a share of what you spent. See which firms turn your trading into money.
- ROI per SizePro
ROI per size is what each prop account size paid you, minus what it cost, as a share of the cost, with your pass rate at each size. Find the size that pays.
- Payout Yield Soon
Payout yield will show what you withdraw per year for each euro of funded capital you control. Limbix doesn't calculate it yet. Here is what to use today.
- Days to PassPro
Days to pass is the average time between starting a prop challenge and passing it, over your last eight passes, with a trend that shows if you are speeding up.
