SoonThis part of Limbix isn’t live yet. The page describes what is decided so far.

For every euro of funded capital you control, how much you actually withdraw per year. The real return on your prop work, annualized.

Payout yield is planned as the yearly return on your prop work: how much you withdraw each year for every euro of funded capital you control. Limbix does not calculate it yet. No screen shows it, and the formula is not in the app. Until it ships, net prop P&L and ROI per firm answer the nearest questions.

How it's calculated#

Worked example#

A worked example will follow the formula. Limbix won't publish one for a number the app does not compute.

When it shows "—"#

Payout yield does not appear anywhere in Limbix today, so there is no "—" state to explain yet.

What's a good payout yield?#

No bands exist yet. They will be set from the formula, not before it.

How to improve it#

The inputs a yield would use are already in Limbix. Getting them right now means the figure will be right the day it ships.

  1. Log every payout, and mark it Paid when the money arrives. Only paid payouts are cash received. See logging a payout.
  2. Keep account sizes and stages accurate. Funded capital will come from your funded accounts. See account stages.
  3. Use what exists today. Net prop P&L shows whether prop trading has paid you overall. ROI per firm and ROI per size show where.

Where you'll see it#

Nowhere yet. For payouts over time today, open the Net P&L tab in Prop Hub: its Cumulative net curve and Ledger list every payout with its date. See the Prop Hub guide.

Frequently asked questions#

What is payout yield in prop trading?#

Payout yield is meant to show what your funded accounts actually return to you each year, relative to the capital they give you to trade. It would answer a question net prop P&L can't: how hard your funded capital works for you over a year. Limbix has not shipped this metric yet, so no figure in the app uses this definition.

How can I track prop payouts in Limbix today?#

Log each payout on its funded account in Prop Hub, first as Requested, then as Paid with the actual amount. The Net P&L tab shows every payout in its ledger and cumulative curve. Net prop P&L totals them against what you spent, and ROI per firm splits that by firm.

When will payout yield be available?#

There is no date yet. This page stays marked "Soon" until the formula is in the app and checked against it. When it ships, this page will carry the exact calculation, a worked example and its empty states, like every other metric page.
